For those that haven't heard, Edward Troxel is in the ICU.
In a message from his wife Jo:
"He has some heart problems and is being monitored currently. He did not have a heart attack, however, it is not functioning properly. As of right now, he is doing better. He will be undergoing some tests tomorrow, but hopefully will get to come home on Tuesday. He doesn't have his computer with him, so it will be a few days until you see him post. Thanks for all of your support of Edward over the past years. I know he appreciates all of you. Please ask everyone to send out prayers for him."

Oh dear, that is terrible news. He's a really good guy. No, make that, a GREAT guy. Hopefully it will be something treatable, like atrial fib.

If anyone in Ed's circle reads this, please tell him that I'm thinking of him.

John

Last Friday Edward sent me a very kind email of condolence following my wife's sad passing.

Come on Edward - get well soon. The Earth needs all the good people it can hold on to.

Another set of best wishes from London.
Get well soon, Edward.
The medics can now do wonderful things. I know, as I just had triple bypass 4 weeks ago.

So you should be 100% soon.

Our prayers are with you

So sorry to hear this, Edward has always had helpful and kind replys to my questions, and about 99% of the time he had already written a Newsletter explaining whatever I was asking about.

In addition to this Sony forum, his jetdv forum is the absolute best forum to frequent.

My prayers are with you Edward, hurry up and get online!

:)

Like Grazie, I just woke up and read this.

Sad news! Hoping and praying that Edward regains his health, and soon!

Hang in there, Edward, we're praying for in this corner.

Just got up and read the news. I hope that Edward will recover. My wife is a nurse RN on a cardiac floor at our hospital and you would be suprised at how many people DO RECOVER and get to leave! I assumed the opposite but she says that the majority get to go home and make full recoveries.
Anyways, I will pray for you Edward.

Edward, stay focused and positive! My brother had a 6-way bypass a couple of years ago (I didn't think you could go above 4). Think good thoughts. My prayers are with you.

Best wishes for a healthful recovery - Edward's been a terrific guy, always helpful, and a nice person, I've known this past couple of years via this board. He's a great example of someone who goes above and beyond to help people.

I have never met edward, but reading his posts for years I have to believe he is one of the nicest , and kindest souls around. You can kind of get a " feel " about a person from reading years of their posts.
Get well soon Edward , and the best to your wife and family in this stressful time.

Edward was one of the first Vegas people I met face to face a few years back , he organized a small Vegas users get together here in Fl .,while he was on his family vacation none the less.
He is truly a great guy, and I wish him well and a speedy recovery.
Edward: I am writing a Vegas script that makes you get better when I press the button. Is it helping?
Study hard for those tests and pass them so you can come home soon.; )
Thghts & Prayers.....

Thanks everyone.

I'm home now but going slow over the next several days. Everything now checks out "normal" but we'll definitely be keeping an eye on things. All test are good and it was NOT a heart attack.
