Subject:Controlling Plug ins with hardware controller

I haven't been on this forum for a while ,so I thought I would ask about using an external controller for tweaking the settings on VST plug-ins. Ideally I would like to know if there is a quick way of assigning external controls ,for example the five data knobs on my Korg Prophecy synth so that I can move the knobs on the VST/DX plug-ins. A bit like controlling a hardware unit . I'm aware you can control things like volume and pan but I have seen nothing about controlling VST plug-ins. A good example of how this can work is is the way it is implemented in Fruity Loops Studio .With the native plug-ins you just right click a on one of the controls and select "link to controller" then you turn the hardware knob you want to assign and that control will then animate thus linking the hardware knob to the virtual knob. Is there a similar function available in Acid Pro 6? I am still on Acid Pro 4 but I am thinking of taking advantage of the upgrade to version 6 as it seems to have matured to the point where I feel it is worth the upgrade price.
