Subject:Problem with Muon Tau2/TauPro in Acid Pro 6.0

I was trying out demos of the Muon Tau VSTis in Acid last night and encountered a really strange problem. This may be a bug in the synths that is exacerbated by Acid in some way. What was happening was I created a number of MIDI clips on the timeline and they all played fine. However, when I would loop a region of a clip I would often hear the notes play on the first loop iteration and then no more sound after that. I would try a different loop region and then it may play fine. I could find no pattern to what sequence of notes within a loop region would cause the sound to stop. I tried some other synths with the same loop regions and they worked fine. So, something about the loop iterating is causing the Muon Tau synths to screw up. I would have thought that it would be completely transparent to the synth whether it was being fed MIDI data from a looped region or not. I have not tried this in another host yet. Is anyone using the Muon Tau synths with Acid Pro 6.0, and if so do you experience this problem? Thanks, Randy |

I can't figure out any pattern to its failure in Acid Pro 6.0. I'm thinking it has something to do with the length of a measure, perhaps this relates back to the bug with VSTis that require synchronization. It works great in Energy XT. I'll give it a try in Reaper. Randy |

Works great in Reaper and FL Studio 6.0. Randy |
