Subject:routing tracks to assignable FX in mixer

I would like to route a track to an Assignable FX (send) and then in turn route the output of the assignable FX to BUS A.

I can see how to route the assignable FX to bus A, but cant figure out how to route track 1 to the assignable FX. Dont want to use a track FX - want the original track left dry and save CPU by using the assignable (send) FX for multiple tracks instead of putting track FX on every track that use the same FX.
Help!
Thanks
Flo

In Acid 5, you just clicked INSERT FX in the mixer and then went to the track and where the track volume was, you did a drop down and chose FX1, 2 3 etc to route the track to the Assignable FX you wnated. The volume slider on the track then became the send volume for the amount of the track signal you want to route to the Assignable FX.

This does not seem to be the case in Acid 6 - there is no drop down on the VOL indicator and the track routing only goes to the Master or a BUS. How do we get the track signal routed to the Assignable FX in the mixer?

I think I got it but I cant believe it.
I added an Assisgnable FX to the mixer. Then I Rt Click on the track and added an FX envelope to the track itself, choosing FX1 as the envelope target drop down. It seems to work, but is that the normal way to do it now in 6.0 or just a work-around?

ACID now has seperate faders for Vol, Pan, and the Aux sends.

The Aux bus will appear when any sub buses or Assignable FX buses are added to the project. You have to expand the Audio Track to expose this fader if it is not visable. This fader works like the old single fader in prior versions of ACID.

This is covered in the ACID 6 help (ACID Track Controls) and manual as well.

I love it! The slider was there when I inserted the send FX and I never thought to just expand the track height to be able to see it! Me Bad!
Thanks!
