Subject:FX Chain

i'd like to set up an FX chain so that i can use SONY's graphic EQ and the normalize function. is there a way to do that???

Yes - click on the FX chain and select the EQ and Wavehammer (use the normalise tab). You will need to ensure that the EQ does not cause clipping if a boost is used.

well on the wavehammer there is only a compressor and a volume maximizer tab. the compressor tab is obviously a compressor and the maximizer tab is for the limiter. i'm looking to get the normalize process into the fx chain.

Normalize is not a real-time effect and, therefore, not chainable.

If you are just looking to run them together with constant settings, you could use the Batch Converter or write a simple script and give it a toolbar button.

bummer, what i was hoping to was do my EQing then normalize then run it through a multiband compressor/limiter. that way i could make realtime adjustments and here the outcome all at once. basically laziness
