Has anyone had luck with using Acid Pro (any version) with the Delta 1010LT and an external mixer? Here is the story. Out of my 1010LT 1/2 outputs, I plug into an Alesis Multimix 12fx mixer Stereo Channel. I then route the output of the Aux 3/4 bus back into the Delta 1010LT 5/6 input. I open Acid 6.0 and set the record in preference to 5/6 Input. I then plug my guitar into the mixer, put a drum loop in a new Acid Track, Insert an Audio Track, arm record and turn the monitor ON. I can hear the guitar just fine. When I hit the record button in the transport window, the drums and the guitar are both recorded to the guitar track. The only way to get the guitar by itself is to plug my Pod XT Live directly into the sound card 5/6 Inputs, bypassing the mixer completely. The drums should not be recording into the guitar track. Right now, the Mixer is an expensive studio Monitor volume control. I don't have a problem with this Using Live 5. I suspect it has something to do with the internal routing of things with Acid 6.0, 5.0, 4.0 etc. I am curious if others are using a Delta 1010LT with Acid through an external mixer or have had similar problems. Thanks for any help. Don |
