I have an mp3 format song with this wierd poping at the end of the song, and I want to get rid of it. If I convert it to wav, edit it out, then back to mp3. Will it affect the quality of the song in any way? Second question. Sometimes when I open an mp3 file on Sound Forge 8.0d, it says "Warning: An error occured while opening one or more files. The file was created with an unsupported version of the program. And I click "OK" and I can still open the file and edit it. It also creates a .sfk file with the same name as the mp3 I opened. Example: I open "Sounds 1.mp3" and it does the error thing, while it does that it creates "Sounds 1.mp3.sfk" my question is what does that mean? 1) Every time you save to MP3 or any compressed format you will lose some quality. 2) I'm not sure what the error means. However, every time you open a file in Sound Forge it creates a .sfk file. This file contains the graphical waveform that you see on the screen. |
