I have a system drive, an audio drive (actually two in RAID 0 config) and a sample drive. I keep loops and samples on the thrid drive and all VST/i files on the main drive. I'm wondering if anyone regularly uses the built in Windows utility to de-fragment their audio drives or is it worth a Norton Speed Disk utility purchase?

To be more specific with the question: How have Atmosphere users installed the app. Are you putting the content on a data drive or system – or something else? I have my loops on a separate firewire drive that is dedicated for that purpose. That leaves the data drives free for various projects and can switch around as needed (they're on removable bays). I've been researching Atmosphere and wasn't clear how the install needed to go to work best.

Thanks,

drbam
