Subject:unable to render

hi, i have been rendering all of my songs fine for about 4 months using acid music studio 6.0. however, tonight i tried to render a new song and it took twenty minutes when it usually take 3 or 4 minutes.

and the final product, both wav and wma, was just a bunch of clicks and noises. absolutely none of my song.

im quite new to using recording software in general, and i really have no idea what i should be trying to fix.


any thoughts?

i forgot to mention that i was at a coffee shop editing some tracks when someone stepped on my power cord and unplugged my computer (yesterday). and all my rendering problems have happened after that.

Do you think having my comp get unplugged while running acid somehow altered the rendering capabilities or screwed up acid in some way(s)?

should i re install?

this sucks!

Definitely try an uninstall and reinstall. Sounds like ACID may have gotten corrupted when the power went kablooey.
