I have constructed a midi percussion track using the Standard drum map.

It has a Cabasa ("shakers") running through most of it, but I want to reduce the velocity of this Cabasa throughout the track, without changing any others.

In the Clip Properties I can drag to select just this instument in the Piano Roll, then when I tab to the List Editor, the notes are not highlighted - shouldn't they be?. I'm sure there's a way to reduce them all by a set amount using a filter, but I can't find how to isolate this one sound to do this.

Any tips appreciated.

- Enable inline Midi editing(G key).
- Select the Cabasa notes(you can use the selection tool).
- Right click and select "Midi processes and filters"
- Select the tab "Velocity".
- Use f.inst "Add" with negative values or "Scale by" with % less than 100.
- Press "Apply"
