Had some playback stability problems with 8 that seem to be have been solved in the D version. What I never saw anyone mention on this forum is that 8 sounds better - a lot better - than the previous versions. I've got three different interface boxes and it sounds better through all of them. Stuff I recorded in 4.2 sounds better when I open up the files and play back in 8. By better I mean significantly higher resolution, more detail, more 3d....better . .
