Is it possible to turn on the track meters without being in record mode?

I would like to have this feature so that I can monitor whether track FX are cause the track to clip. I know I can see this in the master meter but track metering is much more accurate.

I can use an FX like Inspector by Elemental Audio but that adds to cpu overhead. Another option is to use ACID's track optimised compressor/limiter but is this really necessary when simple track metering would do?

Track meters are not available, as post-FX, in ACID Pro 6. I would think it would be, part of an ACID 7 update though. I encourage you to request this feature through the product suggestion form:
