Yo, I know I'm in the wrong forum but I don't know what the right one is. Anyway, I got Noise Reduction 2.0 thrown in when I bought Sound Forge 8 and CD Architect (educational discounts rule!) and on the install it's looking for the file path...is this just a regular .dll style plug-in...should I put it with my vst's or is this a directX kinda thing that can go anywhere? Sorry for asking here, there's no documentation with it at all...and some of you guys seem pretty smart ; ) |

NR2 is a DirectX plug, so you have to install it with an EXE. The DLLs for DX plugs don't work the same way as VST. There should be an installer somewhere on your CD-ROM. - Nick |

cheers homie...looks like I'm all set. What a deal, Sound Forge 8, CD Architect 5, and Noise Reduction 2.0 all for $139. I may not earn much, but deals like this almost make academia worth it. Thanks Sony! |

I'd take that deal if I was still in college. :( |
