I am sure this is a stupid question, and if I look hard enough in the docs, I could find the answer, but I will ask it anyway. I used acid 4 and when I used a soft synth, then played it back, it would play thru the soft synth. With Acid 6 I am having problems getting that to happen. I can hear it when I play, using an external keyboard, but when I play it back, nothing. Can someone give me a clue? Thanks Message last edited on4/18/2006 6:21:29 AM byjdscogin. |

The first thing I'd look for, is to make sure the midi track you've recorded is well routed to the desired soft synth. |

Not at that computer, but there's a box in the Kompakt Interface where you set midi channel - I had similar situation - could see the Kompakt keys going down during playback, but couldn't hear ... |

Also make sure the desired instrument is on the desired MIDI channel; several can be on one channel, for example. Click the instrument in the multi list, then check to see what channel it's on next to the MIDI plug icon to the left. Iacobus |
