Subject:Copy/Paste Relative to Cursor

Hi Guys, is there any way in Acid Pro 6 to copy and paste events relative to the cursor position? For example, say I have the cursor at the start of bar 2, and then I control-click a few events, including one that starts just before bar 2 and runs over into bar 2. I copy them and then I'd like to paste them at bar 6, but keep the timing so the event that came in before bar 2 now also comes in just before bar 6. Normally, when you paste like this, it will start at the cursor, so the early event now comes in right at the start of bar 6.

Anyway to make it paste the way I want it to? I usually resort to including a dummy event on the 1 and dragging the whole lot til it snaps properly, but it's kind of sloppy and I'm wondering if there's another way. If not, does anyone else think this would be a useful feature?

Cheers!

I’ve been asking for something like this for a while now (the exact same idea, just in a drag and drop context).

Half the time you want to move events around inside a measure but the other half you simply want to move/copy one measure to another.

The app is really only orientated for the first scenario. Whereas in reality people want the second just as (if not more) often.
