Subject:Acid Pro 6 and Plug-In Manager

For some odd reason I can't seem to remove a plug-in from the plug-in manager.

The plugin is Sonicism Vintage Vocoder. It installs with an .exe. It also has an uninstaller with it. I installed it. checked it out. Hated it. Uninstalled it. Now I can't get it out of the plug-in manager. There are no remnants of it on my machine (that I know of). I was able to remove it from the list in Sound Forge 8.0d by right clicking on it in the plugin manager and clicking Hide. There aren't any options like this in AP6.

So if anyone out there could give me a hand, I would really appreciate it.

BTW I'm using the 30 day demo of AP6. Just thought I'd use that while I wait for my copy to come in.

Thanks

start>run>regedit

search for "vstcache"
delete the key (should find one for acid/foge and vegas if installed)
restart app, it will rescan the plugins actually there without persistance of vision problems
