Is it possible to save effects chains in one project and open them in another? For example, I use a VSTi synth that I always use with a couple of VST effects. Is it possible to save them all and then open them all together in another project? In Vegas 6, a rendered version of a project can be loaded into another and then edited if necessary. Is it possible to something similar in ACID? |

Doesn't seem like it's possible with synths unfortunately. I was a little surprised and disappointed that Sony didn't re-work the 'insert softsynth' dialog with this release - it's pretty clumsy, especially if you've got more than a few VSTi's installed, which most of us do. I'd suggest that they move synths to the Plug-In Manager. This would have the advantage of letting the user re-organize, group and rename VSTi's in a way they see fit, and would also let us create and save synth chains, as we can with FX. Hopefully this is something we'll see in ACID 7...? Ben |

No, chains are only for FX, not Softsynths. No, ACID will not open the project referenced by a rendered file. Peter |
