Anyone using these products? Do they come with software (file browser) to find a particular sound? Or do you have to wade through thousands of sounds by playing each one? |

I use plenty of these. They are very good value. They don't need a browser. Acid's explorer is the best way to hear what each each one sounds like in context. If you use the media manager (I don't) with Sony's master library, you can search for sounds by instrument, tempo, keyword, whatever. |

They're very clearly categorised, so you don't need any special browser. And since they're SFX it'd be crazy to preview in some custom player and then have to go elsewhere to actually grab the file to insert. |

To anyone who'se been burnt by the media manager please give the newest version a go. Many improvements/enhancements went into this to make it load/run better. IMHO it's a godsend to have with ALL my loops/music I have collected since day one. Ed. |
