OK. This new upgrade seems to have many people happy. But as a mid-ish level ACID user, most of the new feature list is Greek to me.

Can anyone recommend the best way to get up to speed with some of this whiz.bang stuff? Training video? Tutorials?

Thx.

Rick

Acid Pro 6 Power! book is coming.

I've pre-ordered at Amazon.com

I hoping that someone comes up with a training DVD, as already exists for Vegas and DVDArchitect. I find that seeing the program being manipulated whilst listening to the results, and comments by someone who "knows" is the best way to learn.

I've bought some excellent training courses from digital music doctor. They're currently working on one for ACID 6.

Although nothing has been officially announced, I would expect Sony to release a companion ACID Pro 6 DVD series, like they did for ACID Pro 5. Probably better would be a single DVD that focused just, on the new ACID Pro 6 features. That would then compliment the exisiting ACID Pro 5 series.

Even though I am fairly proficient, using ACID, I purchased the ACID Pro 5 DVD series and liked it a lot. The training videos are very well done and span (3) DVD's of content (around 4 hours I think). The first DVD dealt with mainly getting you up to speed using ACID, basic to advanced stuff. While the 2nd focused on all the new ACID Pro 5 features. The 3rd DVD contains the training content.

Cheers,

Billy Buck
