didn't see this posted before: when you are previewing a sample in the Explorer pane, and you move the Preview volume slider during play, the sample will stop playing. anyone else experience this? |

it also happens when you shift focus to another application while previewing a sample in ACID. |

Using the Loop Explorer, I can preview ACID loops, wave files, MP3's and MIDI files and adjust the Preview Slider and the audio never stops playing. Cheers, Billy Buck |

it also happens when you shift focus to another application while previewing a sample in ACID. Sorry, I am not seeing this behavior either. I can be previewing a media file and shift focus and the audio continues to play. In fact, if I have ACID using my audio card in ASIO mode and Sound Forge using the Classic Wave Driver, from the same audio card, I can actually have ACID playing, shift focus to Sound Forge and have it start playing, as well. :-) The only caveat, is if play both applications are using my audio card, in ASIO mode, then the second app won't play, because you can't have to separate apps, in ASIO mode playing at the same time. hi Billy, thanks for the response. i kinda thought it was probably something on my pc only, otherwise i'd seen previous threads about it here i'm sure. still, it's weird that ACID behaves this way on my machine. i'll do some cleanups and see if that helps. thanks again. |
