Subject:[ACID6] Input device bug?

I noticed that when I was using 2 inputs in ACID 6 and then I opened up Sound Forge 8 using the same 2 inputs and then I could no longer use those 2 inputs in ACID 6.

To resolve I had to close both programs, stop my I/O's service in services.msc and then restart it.

This could be an issue just with my interface (Aardvark LX6 pro) which needs to be replaced because the company fell through and didnt ever release any 'fully functional' drivers...

Anywho just letting yall know incase this occurs with any other interfaces...

It is probably your audio card and it's drivers. See my post in this other thread:

I can have both ACID Pro 6 and Sound Forge open and using the same ASIO drivers, as long as only one is playing, at a time. If I want both apps to play simultaneously, I only have to change the driver mode to Classic Wave Drivers, in either app. This is because the ASIO spec does not allow (2) separate apps to be using the the same ASIO driver model.
