Hi, just installed the MCU and XT After you installed the MCU you have to configure the Device (double klick) and then press the SCAN button. This will find the XT It works now but so far no REWIND and FAST FWD Have to check out. Is there any Info abbout Acid pro 6 and the MCU? Any one with more experience? |

RWD and FFW will be in the first update. Sounds trivial, but it was a significant feature to get right. What other info are you looking for? Peter |

There is a section in the help file titled Using a Mackie Control That covers the use of the Mackie with ACID. You can download the Vegas overlay http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/download/step2.asp?DID=496 which has essentially the same mapping as ACID, though none of the Video assignements are active. We are working on an overlay for ACID. If you have some specific questions, please feel free to ask. Peter |

I have downloaded AcidPRO 6 (the trial version) and have a Mackie Control Universal (version 2.1.2) that works wonderfully with Reason. I noticed that AP6 suggests that it has full support for the MCU, but I am getting unusual behavior. Sometimes the transport controls don't work (hit play and the song starts, hit stop and the song stops, hit play again and nothing happens). Sometimes the display doesn't refresh. In all cases, if I disable external control and then re-enable it, AP6 responds to the MCU again, at least for a short time. What's going on, and is a fix in the works? I want to buy AP6, but I would like to have my MCU work AT LEAST as well as it does with Reason. |

Thanks for the quick response. I have been working with AP6 since I posted, and generally am happy with what I am seeing. Better MCU support will be a big bonus. I look forward to the update. |
