The big bonus in ACID 6 is multiple clips on the same track. This is a godsend for me. I tried dragging clips in ACID 5 projects loaded into v6 onto one track but this doesn't seem to work. How do I merge tracks so that all the clips are on the same track? I'm trying to put vocal clips all on the same track. |

Note to self, "Try, 'cut and paste'." Duh! It would still be nice to be able to merge tracks so that if any clips are not quantised they fall in exactly the right place rather than trying to cut and paste them in exactly the right place on a new track. Especially useful for midi clips. Is this possible? Message last edited on4/3/2006 8:42:53 AM bySpectralis. |

If I understand your question, each track, in ACID 6, has an associated "Clip Pool". There is a "Clip Pool" icon, on each track, where your clips are stored. You can drag your clips, from the Loop Explorer, to the icon. When you click on the "Clip Pool" icon you will then see a list of all your various clips, that you have loaded. Once you select a clip, you can then use the "Paint" tool to create your clip, along the tracks timeline. The current selected clip, in the "Clip Pool" is the one that will be painted on the timeline. So you can have different clips available to use, on any given track. Just pick and choose which to paint. Check the ACID Pro help file, for more info on the "Clip Pool". HTH, Billy Buck |
