Subject:8b Audio Device List

Since I updated to 8b, the only Audio Device listed in the preference tab is Microsoft soundmapper (yuck). Anybody know how to refresh the list? Anybody know how much support money is charged to fix this thing that wasn't broke in 8.0 build 53?

Reinstall and it should be fixed. There is a long thread about this somewhere on the forum, try a search 'cause I don't remember exactly.

That worked for me.

To clarify: Do you think that I should reinstall the SF 8b update or reinstall 8b after first unistalling 8.0?
