How do I boost the signal? When I render out from the timeline, the signal is very quiet. Help?

check your dialogue normalisation is set to -31 and your Dynamic Range compression is set to film light or off.
Also do a search on "ac3 volume" as this has been touched on numerous times

Another tip is to go to Dolby.com and read up on the numerous encoding methods available to you
