Unable to view ( some ) files in Acid pro 5. -ACID Product Family

Subject:Unable to view ( some ) files in Acid pro 5. Posted by: LyricsGirl Date:3/12/2006 9:00:13 PM my audio system is XP Pro..I use Acid pro 5 . The audio system is networked to the video system via netword hub. it has no access to the internet. It is purely to move files beteen the A / V systems. I opened Acid and vie the Explorer window went to retreive some files from the video system.however i cannot "see" anything in the shared folder. The setup to connect them:- A standard crossover cable from the Audio system into the network hub. A folder on the audio system share enabled called "Share on Protools". The video system has a virtual drive shared to enable me to pass files to and from the "Share on Protools" folder. in all the programs on the audio system, i can "see" amnd access all files via the explorer I/F window, except for Acid. so i have to open a standard Windows exploroer window in order to locate and drag the files into Acid. Why can I not see these files directly within Acid??? i alwasy refresh the view before selecting the files for Acid. Many Thanks LG
