Please if possible try to answer my questions? I have not purchased ACID yet? (01) Is media manager a standalone application? (02) Can create icons and associate them accordingly? (03) Can media manager print out reports regarding searches and directory population? (04) Is media manger able to search over a network? (05) Is media manager able to catalog all sample files such sf2/sound designer/rex and other software based samples? Thanks -- you all -- |

Here are the answers to the best of my knowledge: > (01) Is media manager a standalone application? No, the Media Manager is integrated into ACID. > (02) Can create icons and associate them accordingly? I’m not sure what you mean by “create icons”. It allows you to associate media files with tags and the tags can have icons. It also shows thumbnails of visual media (i.e., stills and video). > (03) Can media manager print out reports regarding searches and directory population? No. > (04) Is media manger able to search over a network? No. It uses local databases only. > (05) Is media manager able to catalog all sample files such sf2/sound designer/rex and other software based samples? No. It will only catalog files that can be used in ACID. Since ACID doesn’t recognize sf2/rex, etc. files, the media manager doesn’t either. (since you can’t use them in ACID I’m not sure what having them in the media manager would do) ~jr Message last edited on3/8/2006 9:09:38 AM byJohnnyRoy. |
