I use it for making some weird loops that I export and open into Acid. The plugins impart a different sound than other plugin bundles...I like them for coloring a beat. The stock compressor plug is all kinds of fun to use across the main output. Squishy and snappy. The interface is fine for some things like building a basic pattern, completely unintuitive for other things like effects routings, and their forum/support is both hilarious and horrible. I think I need some remedial training on it. I don't use anywhere near the capabilities of that program. It is one stable piece of software, I can tell you. At least for me, it is. If Acid were that stable I would be a very happy man. For the cost, it is hard to go wrong with FL Studio. Its a great "sidecar program" if you are an Acid head. |
