Subject:ACID 6 CPU Load?

I hope the new ACID 6 won't eat up a lot more cpu than ACID 5. One of the best things about ACID 5 is it's low use of cpu resources compared to other hosts.

We'll see how things are in march but...

Not to get flamed here but IMHO anyone still using anything less than 2 GHZS cpu is asking for problems.Not only from how each version from every host app goes up slightly on cpu but on how much more cpu plugins now use.

My next system will be AMD dualcore based. Hell watercooled at that. Just be warned thats all.

ACID 6 may well use more cpu because of all the new features but I hope it won't be a big jump from ACID 5. ACID seems to conserve cpu quite well on my machine so I'm hoping the upgrade will continue in that tradition.
