Using Acid 5.0c.... I have a VST that appears in the Acid Pro list of available effects that I would like to get rid of because the file (VST) is no longer on my hard drive. It was a third party VST. When I click on it within Acid, it doesn't work (because its not on my system). I even tried unistalling and reinstalling Acid, but the VST file keeps appearing as an effect that's available within Acid. I have searched my hard drives, and refreshed within the preferences options to no avail. Is there a way I can delete it from within the Acid interface, perhaps deleting something in Regedit? It's annoying having a VST option in Acid that is dead. |

Yes, I would say that when it was deleted, it did not remove it correctly. If you are comfortable using Regedit, search for the VST's name and delete that. Make a backup of you reg first. Make sure you click on the very top level before you save, or you might save just one entry. That should take care of it. |

If you are comfortable with Regedit, I show you how to do this is the ACID Tips section of my web site. ~jr |
