Subject:Creating phone ringtones

Hello: Our company uses Verizon vx6600 Pda phones.
The problem is the rings are not very loud and our staff are missing many calls. We would like to take our company wav file and create a special louder ringtone. I can't figure out what format I need to save the the file as and if Version 8 can do it.

One quick google and I found this about that pda:

Custom Ringtones: WAV, CMX, MIDI, WMA formats

So yes, sound forge will work. I'd compress the sound a LOT and then normalize it and save it as a wav file.

Then you'll have to figure out how to get the sound back into the pda.
