Hi all I've been using Acid Pro 4.0d for a couple of years on a PC that's not connected to internet. Acid has suddenly refused to allow me to open up MP3s & is telling me to register the MP3 plug-in by taking the 'Activate MP3 Plug-in.htm' file to a web-connected PC. I've tried this but it's attempting to link to the old Sonic Foundry site, so I can't get hold of the '.reg' file to input. I've had a look at previous similar queries on the forum, and the only advice is to re-install Acid. I'd rather avoid this if possible, as it's likely to mess up the recognition of VSTi's, effects etc. - I don't wanna have to go fiddling with the reigistry again - I just want the .reg file for MP3s!! Any help appreciated, but SONY - please can you direct me to a place on your website I can register for the MP3 plugin? Thanks LD |

You are using an old version of ACID 4. Go to the updates page and download the ACID Pro 4.0f update. Just install it over your existing ACID and this will probably fix your registration problem. ~jr |
