Barely, and not by using Sound Forge alone. You can record the first part with Sound Forge, save the file, then set your sound card to record the "mixed output" or "what u hear" channel, play back the original recording in media player, and record the next part mixed with the first part in Sound Forge. Repeat as often as necessary to build up multipart recordings. Much better is to use a multitrack audio program like SONY's Vegas. |

I think there's another way(correct me if I'm wrong). But you can record like Chienworks said. And record the other part. Then have both the song files open in SF. Highlight the part you want to put into the main song file. Then copy or cut, and right-click on the part you want it to be in on the main song file. Then do "Mix", and it'll paste that part into the song without adding any extra time. Let me know if that helped (or if you could even understand it) |
