Subject:Plugin Chains in SF8 Batch Converter?

Isn't it possible to use a saved Plugin FX chain used for a sound in a Batch Converter script in SF8? I'm suprised this useful feature of Batch Converter 5 hasn't been carried over. It's useful to fine tune a processing chain and then apply it as a batch process. Except for mundane processing functions, it's almost impossible to know in advance the exact effect a complex SF8 batch script will have unless it's tested as a plugin chain anyway. I hope I didn't miss something in the docs; I just opened and applied the same chain to a bunch of files one at a time because it was almost as fast as saving each individual preset in the chain and set up a new chain in the batch converter script.. If it isn't implemented then of course: please, please, please.... Angels Message last edited on1/25/2006 5:29:17 PM byAngels. |

There should be a "Plug-In Chainer" entry in the combo box on the Process page. J. Message last edited on1/26/2006 7:16:06 AM byForumAdmin. |

THANKS! :) BTW, this should really be included in the Batch Converter Script Online Help; it was easy to miss in my long list of plugins! Angels |
