This is for the forum administrator. Folks who uese audio gear are well aware of the tendency for products to be brought to market well before their time so that the buyer is really a "beta" product tester while the bugs get worked out. The list of bugs for sound forge is awfully long. I wonder how many problems I'm going to run into that a month from now will have a "fix" on the website...that doesn't help me pulling out my hair now, especially after my 60 day free support period ends. Your reply??? |

This post is full of really useful information... ;) Your other posts indicate that you're using SF Studio. What are the problems (your other posts are of the "how do I..." type of questions)? This is a user forum...not technical support. Tell us what's going on and we might be able to help. Otherwise, click on the support link at the top of the page to get support from Sony. |

Sony do have significant beta programs for all their software and attempt to address as many issues as possible during that period. As with all software, other issues can become apparent after release. By looking at subsequent update releases you will see that they are addressed if genuine bugs. That you are having so many problems may indicate other problems in your PC or operating system, complicated by a seemingly inability to consult the manual on basic functionality issues. If you consulted these and the online FAQs, with the readiness that you check out bug-lists, then some of your problems may dissappear. geoff. |
