Hi all,

A friend picked up a second cheap LCD from Costco for his use.. And I was considering one to use for one of my Vegas sytems..
It is a 20 inch LCD Wide.. Here is a link to see it:

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11097928&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=

One thing my buddy told me though was that when he connected it for use on his windows machine ti was stretched Horizontally (I am assuming it is because it is a widescreen monitor) and he connected it to his mac, and it then looked fine.. Is this some setting in you Display setting whci can correct/compensate this??

Thanks,
mike m.

Sounds like he hadn't set his PC to native 1680x1050 resolution.

Note also that low end graphics cards don't support this resolution.

I had a Sceptre. It was pretty good. A pair of these wide-screens would be nice!

If you are patient and watch websites like slickdeals.net, you can find the dell 20" ultra sharp wide-screen for about that price. Dell tends to run a special about every month or two.

I got mine in August for under $400.
