Subject:Warning Message

When doing anything in acid pro 5.0 I get a warning message:


"An error occured while loading this project file...."
"An unexpected error has occured."

or "Warning: An error occured while creating a new project"

When you click on the details button you get, "The output device Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth could not be opened."

I get I don't even know what I did to cause this. Does anybody have any ideas? BTW, the Microsoft synth is checked under the MIDI playback section of preferences.

Almost sounds like something else is keeping the Microsoft GS synth busy. Anything else open?

No. I guess this wasn't a common error. Most of my computer issues are something I've overlooked. I think I'll post over on kvr and see if any of them have run across this.

On kvr I was told to just turn it off. I did that and don't have the warning any more. I don't ever use the MS synth, so I guess that will work. What do you think?
