Hello again,

Thanks for the help in my earlier post.. My client gave me a Flash file, which they need to be converted to a video format which i can put on a DVD.. i was expecting it to be a .swf file, but it is not.. I tried to import it into Vegas 6.0c, After Effects 6.5 and even Sorenson squeeze.. but nada.. will not load it up..The file has the F logo on it, and it description under properties says Macromedia Flash Player 6.0.. I am guessing it is in a standalone format.. which allows it to play.. Is there some way i can imprt this to Vegas?/ After Effects??
Do i need the .swf file?? Any help from any Flash guru's ??

thanks,
mike m.

If you have Camtasia you could certainly capture to AVI.

What is the file extension? If it's .FLA or .FLV, you can open it in Flash and export as a video file.

Also, decompiling the file (using tools such as this) may get you to a format you can use.
