Hey all... I figured some people here might want to know about this, although we all probably own SF8 already. :-) Found this over on the DigiFreq site... "Sony Media Software and DigiFreq announced that together they are sponsoring the Sound Forge 8 giveaway contest. Four lucky winners will each receive a copy of the new Sound Forge 8 software." Go to: Sound Forge 8 Giveaway Contest Good luck! Although, I hope I win... :-) BobM |

Hmmm, anyone else smell a rat? Not very subtle, Scott. If you're gonna create an alias to promote yourself (BobM) it's probably best if the majority of 'his' posts aren't doing just that. Just a little tip for the future. Otherwise, people might <just> suss you out somehow... Pretty lame in my book anyway. Ben |

LOL!!!! At least he was more creative than another individual over in the Vegas Video forum. Scott, it's ok you don't need to be so sneaky around here for self promoting your products. Others do it on a regular basis in the Vegas Video forum and Sony seems to encourage it. I don't see a reason why they should have special priveledges over yourself. Then again, I haven't witnessed too many fair dealings among forum members from Sony, so I may be wrong. |

Hi Ben -- Whatever you may believe, I wouldn't do something like that. There are over 17,000 DigiFreq members and many of them help spread the word about my work all on their own. I have nothing to do with it. I've seen BobM around and of course I appreciate his help. As a matter of fact, BobM had posted about the contest over on the Cakewalk forum as well. I didn't realize this and posted about it too. Then I had to delete my post after getting a polite note from Cakewalk. :-) Suffice it to say, now I do a search before posting just in case, which is what I did here. Any way, I am not BobM and he is not me. Hi Alex -- Thanks very much for your support! I appreciate it. Scott -- Scott R. Hey Ben, I'm not a rat or snitch or whatever. I just happen to like Garrigus' work. It's helped me a lot, so I'm just giving back a little. I'd be happy to participate more here, but in case you haven't noticed, this isn't the busiest forum around. It's pretty quiet most of the time and most of the posts are usually answered. So I don't reply because of that or because I don't know the answer myself. BobM |
