Rendered File Size Limits?

Help. I'm having trouble rendering with Video Factory. Large .avi files are fully rendered to the hard drive by Video Factory, but when opened with any program (media player, MyDVD, etc.), they have a shorter duration than the full length of the movie (properties also indicates a shorter duration). The movie ends about 1/3 of the way through. The file size on the disc appears to be appropriate for the full length of the movie. To check for corrupted data, I rendered a short loop section that included the location where the movie stops, and this works okay. I also rendered only the last half of the movie, and the file still stops at exactly the same time duration as when the movie is rendered from the beginning. The movie stops at 4 min 42 sec, which corresponds to a file size of exactly 1.00 GB. I therefore suspect a maximum file size setting somewhere, but cannot find it. My hard drives are formated NTFS and I'm running XP Professional Service Pack 2. Thanks for any insight.
