I apologize if this may seem unrelated to Vegas, but I use my laptop for editing, and sometimes when I play back the finished video, the audio volume is not high enough, and I have turned all of my audio playback controls up.
I know Vegas has those controls, but I need to play this from a media or DVD player.
Sometimes I need to show it to more than one person, and it's almost impossible to hear it.
I am wondering if there is a little program (freeware prefered) that preamplifies the audio in real time, on the fly, so that it can be sufficiently loud when it reaches the speakers. Some of my audio files are loud, and I can hear them sufficiently well, so it is only an issue of making audio louder before going to volume controls and speakers.
