I'm trying to use a sample with the music i'm making but its alittle off. i think if i slowed it down some it would match perfect. any idea how to change the tempo for a single sample and not the entire project? i'm using acid pro 5. thanks

You could try using the Beatmapper on it to change its tempo. Change the track type to Beatmapped and run the Beatmap Wizard.

Is this an ACIDized sample? (It doesn't sound like it is.)

Try what JohnnyRoy suggested. You can also properly ACIDize the sample in Sound Forge so that it stretches properly.
