Subject:[SF8] Choppy scrolling durring playback?

Hi everyone, I just picked up Sound Forge 8.0 and I immediately noticed how choppy the scroll playback was compared to 6.0. I noticed there were some compatible draw and scroll mode options for 'broken' drivers and these options did not seem to change a thing. I updated to 8.0b and the problem still exists... The frame rate of the meters seem to be working very smoothly, just that scrolling playback looks awful... Edit: I also have smooth scrolling enabled and it still looks chunky. Any help on this matter would be appreciated! Doesn't look like my system info is showing up yet even though I have it selected to do so, so here goes: //----------------- WINXP 1gig of 3200 DDR (Only utilizing about 250mb total physical while using SF8) 2.1gHz AMD XP3000+ Barton Geforce 6600gt 128mb DDR3 500/1000mHz (latest drivers) And my monitor is set up to be 1280x1024x32@85Hz if thats of information. Sorry I can't help, but the same on my PC. SF-6 and 7 are smoothe as can be. SF-8 is herky-jerky. And... 8.0 also locks up a lot. (menu bar turns white). |

Yeah something isnt right for sure on the choppyness... SF6 was so smooth... I've had a few crashes with some 3rd party plugins but I just reinstalled them everything seems to be working fine, so far... |
