Its not my own setup, but one i use at a studio i work for at times.. They have a Z1, that they have been unable to print to tape to..( we have tried just DV)
It is running vegas 6C and Windows XP professional, and as of today it has all of the latest Windows updates installed..
I took my Laptop which is running Vegas 6B and connected their camera to my computer, and it printed to tape no problem..
Also on their system they are able to capture using their system and camera.Just no Print to tape(when you get to print to tape , it gets you to the point where is ask you if you want to do crash or manual printing to tape, and they are all grayed out)
The only other weird thing about this setup which i can think of , is it has small firewire plug-in deal which plugs into the firewire port, and expands it to 2 firewire port...Other than that we can connect firewire drives, capture tapes etc... just no print to tape.. And yes the camera is setup correctly as i was able to print from my laptop..The computer having this proble is a lptop P4 3.2 ghz system..
Any ideas or suggestion, would be appreciated..
