Hi.

I have enjoyed getting to know the Sounds forge 8 product. I am new to it, but have loved the batch converter. I watched through some of the trianing DVD for sound forge 8, but not all of it. The part I watched was on scripting and batch mode. My hope was to see somwhere an example of how to write a batch configuration or script that can search through any music sound file and clip out 30-45 seconds of a sample of the song. I would prefer it to figure out a reasonable region like the second region of 16 measures in the song, and then just clip out that region from the song and apply a fade in/out preset to that region output. I can get the auto-region to determine the regions properly, but I can't seem to find a way to get it to access the second or third region of a song. I don't want the first, adn I don't want all the song.. I just want something like the 2nd or 3rd region of a song split up by 16 measure regions. Someone with the batch or scripting tools aware of how i can crop the file output to just the 2nd region found by my specs to the auto-region? Of course, I want this to just be a new output file and not effect the original file in any way..

your help in pointing me to the right direction is appreciated.

thanks
