Subject:Creating track id's 4 live Dj Mix Recording?

Hello All,
Quick question...

i've received a 1 hour live recording dj mix containing 12 songs. I've been asked to insert track # id's so that a listner can scroll without having to listen to the entire cd as 1 long track.

How can this be accomplished in Acid or Sound Forge so that when i burn it, the 12 songs will have 12 markers?

Thanks in advance.

This is probably best done with CD Architect but you can do it right in ACID Pro 5 too. Drop the recording onto the timeline but don’t Beatmap it (i.e., cancel the Beatmapper when it pops up). This will make it a One Shot. Then at the points in the recording that you want a new CD track, Press the N key. After all tracks are assigned, use the menu item Tools > Burn Disc-at-Once Audio CD...

This is a new feature for ACID Pro 5 so if you have ACID Pro 4 or earlier this won’t work. In ACID Pro 4 you would have to highlight each track by making a timeline selection and use Track-at-Once burning with the Burn selection only option. This will automatically add a 2 second gap between songs (you have no control over this)
