has anyone tried this yet. I'm going to be doing a show in a couple months, and I'm going to be using Acid. I will have songs laid out in a certain order, and I'm also will be using my mpc1k, and kaoss pad 2. Basically playing along with the my own tracks with the mpc, and kaoss pad to filter certain things, and or add effects on the fly. i was just wondering if anyone else has used acid in a live setting. i was also considering taking a look at Ableton live 5, and rewiring it to acid or vice versa. But acid will always be my main program of choice. But I 've heard Ableton live being the program of choice for ppl performing live with using their laptops. Any opinion are greatly welcomed.
thanks

I did a couple of gigs with an electronic project and we used Acid on stage . It was before I owned it ( I also use live ) and we never had a problem . Now I would never use Acid on stage with my computer . I just couldnt trust it ,even though just playing back tracks it's pretty solid , but it was seemless on his computer so it can be done .
I like using acid at home to create tracks. I enjoy the work flow of it , but if your performing Ableton Live really is the way to go . Thats what it's created for .

Yea I think I'm going to get live 5. Some of the things you can do in that program is pretty dam cool, especially if yuo have some kind midi controller hooked up to it.
