ok.

1. I have an intro at 100 bpm, then hit "T" and bumped the speed up to 130 bpm.
2. I record my guitar part against the drums which sound fine.
3. I listen back. Sounds like crap. I select "preserve pitch". Now guitar is in correct key.
4. Stupid drums are now out of synch with guitar. When did they change?

How do I get the drum loop and recorded guitar part to sound the way they do when I'm RECORDING them?!

Thanks,
Eric

When you record, make sure that the option: Make new track follow project tempo (Beatmapped track) is unchecked. This will keep ACID from messing with your recorded part. Also make sure you are using ASIO drivers for your sound card so that you have the lowest latency possible which will give you the most accurate timing for your recording.
