Subject:file format plugins? Posted by: King Edward Date:9/20/2005 5:46:32 PM I just ordered The Electro Set CD I recieved the CD today. For some reason I cant play any of the loops in one of the folders on the CD.In the loops folder called percussive loops when I try to add loops from this folder I get this error message....a error occurred while opening one or more files. The file format for the specified format was not properly initialized. The detail read as followed...File D:\Acid Loops\Electro Set\Loops\Percussive Loops\Metal Ping B.wav could not be opened. None of my other folders or loops have this problem. Is the loop CD bad? or is there a plugin I need? please help!

I don’t have that CD but I always just copy the ACID CD’s to my hard drive and they work fine. Could be a bad CD I guess. Have you contacted Sony support? ~jr

I contacted sony and they already know about the problem and will send me a replacement CD in a few weeks. Why they are sending out bad CD's when they know about it is anyones guess. I have to give them credit they have a downladable replacment file as a temp fix and as soon as they make new ones that work they will send one at no cost. I also Copy all my loops to my hard drive.
