Subject:Video Sync problem in 8.0 Posted by: ashtangakasha Date:9/23/2005 8:45:07 AM In 8.0b (and also 8.0a) when I import a quicktime MOV file to edit the sound track, the soundtrack and video both seem to play correctly -- but they are hugely out of sync. The sound starts about 10 seconds early relative to the video, and gets farther and farther out of sync. The video must be playing too slowly (since the sound doesn't seem distorted), but it's not visually obvious. The MOV was created using the very popular Sorenson3 codec, in Final Cut Pro HD. Audio is 48kHz 16-bit. It seems like there must be some setting in SF that might affect this, but I haven't been able to get the clips to play correctly.
